On the Road Beauty Essentials

Sometimes, it is the little creature comforts that you bring with you from home when traveling that make all of the difference in the world. These five products have turned in to staples in my cosmetic case and I really can’t leave home without them.

 1. Aveda Shampure: When I switched from chemical based hair care products to Aveda, I noticed a huge difference in my overall hair health. (How ridiculous does that sound?) Shampure is a clarifying shampoo that is gentle enough that it can be used daily, so it both cleanses and makes hair stronger.

2. Lush Butterball Bath Bomb: If you get dry skin in the winter, these are my favorite bath treatments I have come across. The vanilla scented Butterball is loaded with cocoa butter to help heal dry skin.

3. Clarins HydraQuench Cream: Hi, my name is Lindsey and I am addicted to Clarins HydraQuench Cream. I feel like finding a face cream that actually works and doesn’t make you break out is almost an act of God and this stuff fits both of those requests. If you have slightly dry or combo skin, I couldn’t recommend this enough … especially after or during a long flight.

4. Clarisonic Plus: I was pretty skeptical about purchasing one of these since I was totally underwhelmed by the Clarisonic Toothbrush. My mind was changed when I used one at a spa in Scottsdale and I’ve been a loyal fan ever since. It is actually amazing to see how much more make-up comes off with the brush than if you just used your normal product.

5. Cetaphil: This is the most basic face wash that I have probably been using since middle school. I’ve probably tried dozens of other products in every price range, but my drug store purchased Cetaphil wins the test every time.
